Work recently completed by our expert fitters at Cheltenham Glass and Glazing includes the transformation of a commercial business in Cheltenham town centre with new aluminium window frames and both internal and external post cladding.
The condition of the original wooden, putty-glazed window frames had deteriorated significantly and the owners were concerned that the store was not secure.
In addition, the windows were only single glazed which meant that the building was not thermally efficient, with significant heat loss and poor sound insulation.
Using smart new charcoal black aluminium frames from Smart Systems, the UK’s leading supplier of architectural aluminium systems, a complete replacement of the windows and doors at the Gloucestershire business took place.

The original wooden frames were removed before energy efficient double glazing was installed. Finally, the job was completed with the addition of post cladding both inside and outside the shop, creating a smart new look for our Cheltenham-based client.
