They say an Englishman’s home is his castle and this was certainly the case for our Cheltenham-based clients, Mr & Mrs V, who booked Cheltenham Glass and Glazing to install a Juliet balcony in front of a large aluminium framed apex window in their master bedroom.

Our team of experienced fitters worked together to construct and install the glass and marine-grade stainless steel structure which was positioned just in front of the apex window to enable the windows to be opened safely and the bedroom to benefit from circulating fresh air – and those all-important uninterrupted elevated views across the local countryside.

The installation used 10mm toughened Pilkington glass, chosen for its strength and durability. It is critically important to use the correct glass for each job, particularly where mechanical strength is a safety factor.
