Cheltenham Glass and Glazing were recently contacted by Bath Road residents Mr & Mrs K who were looking to modernise the orangery at their Gloucestershire home.

Originally built with wooden doors and frames, significant rot had developed in the woodwork and the whole room had become damp, draughty and difficult to both heat and use.

Adam Worth, Director of Cheltenham Glass and Glazing, visited Mr & Mrs K to discuss what they would like to achieve and the look they were hoping to create for their home.

Mr & Mrs K opted to install sleek aluminium bi-fold doors and window frames in a modern anthracite grey in their orangery from our trusted supplier Smart Systems.

Whilst aluminium windows and doors do have a slightly higher initial cost compared to uPVC windows and doors, they do have a longer lifespan.
